On Wednesday night (July 26), Kendrick Lamar brought out J. Cole during the Detroit stop of his DAMN. tour. It now appears that either shortly before or after his appearance onstage with K. Dot, Cole ended up hitting the studio with D-Town legend, Royce Da 5'9." The Slaughterhouse spitter let the world know about Cole's visit through an Instagram post. Check it out below.

In the post, captioned simply, "Cole," we see Cole, rocking his customary red-and-black Air Jordan 1's, sitting back in a chair looking through some things on his Mac Book. The image is hazy and the lighting is dim. Looks like the North Carolina rapper's getting ready to put in some serious work.

There's no telling what sort of fire Cole and Royce could soon be churning out, but it should be pretty epic—and it could be coming pretty soon. It's just the latest sign that Royce is playing no games this year.

The Detroit rhymer is barely a month removed from unleashing his 28-track mixtape, The Bar Exam 4, and that might just be the tip of the iceberg. Back in January, Royce used his Facebook page to post a snippet of a new Bad Meets Evil song with himself and Eminem. We haven't heard anything about that music in the months since, but we know it's there. We just have to wait—for that, and this collab with Cole.
