Last night, the imperial Rick Ross had a listening party for his newest album, Rather You Than Me, and it's safe to say it was an event. Now that we know the guest spots for the project, we can say listening to the album will be one too.

The MMG boss' latest collection of theatrical, self-mythologizing bangers will feature guest appearances from myriad top-shelf entertainers, including Future, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Wale, Meek Mill, Ty Dolla $ign, Dej Loaf, Anthony Hamilton, Chris Rock, Scrilla and Nas. Needless to say, that's quite a lineup. Rozay confirmed Nas for his new project about a month ago.

We're just about a week away from Rather You Than Me hitting shelves and streaming services, and Rozay's managed to generate quite a buzz for the project. Ever the inventive promoter, Ross had Martha Stewart introduce the official artwork for the album on a scrumptious-looking cake just yesterday.

It's clear he's pulling out all the stops to make his newest album huge. In a recent open letter to fans, Ross explained why Rather You Than Me is so important to him. “This album is more than just another project for me. It’s a product of strength, perseverance, and determination,” Ross wrote. He continued, “Rather You Than Me is a testimony. My testimony, and if you a real nigga, no matter where you from, you can relate to this.”

Rather You Than Me is all set to drop on March 17.
