Looking to land a spot on this year's 2017 XXL Freshman class cover is Los Angeles rapper and songwriter KR. Best known for his record "Play My Shit," which has over 1 million plays on SoundCloud and 500,000 views on YouTube, the West Coast MC is steadily making a name for himself. He offers a refreshing style of rap to the world, which contains equal parts of positive and party vibes. With two critically acclaimed projects (It Could Happen and And It Begins) under his belt, KR is one of the rising rappers destined to blow out of the Left Coast.
