The day many people dreaded has come. Donald Trump is officially the 45th president of the United States of America, after being inaugurated yesterday (Jan. 20) during a ceremony in Washington D.C. Quite frankly, the event was not lit, with a visibly lower turnout than Barack Obama's 2009 swearing in. As one of Obama's last duties before he dips, he had to be on hand to pass the torch. Frank Ocean believes Barry O should have pulled a G move and made an early exit while President Trump was addressing the nation.

Like lots of people, the "Pink + White" singer was less than impressed by the lackluster event. "I'm really excited for these inauguration numbers to come in," he wrote in his Tumblr page, referring to the slack crowd.

"Don’t cook the books either Donald," he continued. "We all know your event was dry. No matter how many times CNN anchors repeat majestic or peaceful transition of power. The world can see America divided and the chaos in the streets. Barack we love you but it would’ve been equally presidential if you would’ve just walked on out while Donald got through that struggle speech trashing your career."

He added, "The majority knows man, we know you did good. We see it. The majority sees Donald for who he is too. He ain’t slick. And it’s too bad the majority doesn’t count. In any event, a first family that I can relate to will be missed. Really though."

Yesterday, many in the hip-hop community bid farewell to Obama via social media.

"We really gonna miss you champ," Kendrick Lamar tweeted. "The good you've done & opportunity's you've given. Truly never know what we got til its gone. Thank u."

Hate it or love it, it's the start of a new era.
