Kanye West Listed as Producer and Co-Writer on Drake’s “Two Birds, One Stone”
Drake's new track "Two Birds, One Stone" got the rap world buzzing. Not just because it was a new Drizzy song, but because he is taking subliminal shots at Pusha T and Kid Cudi. The issues with the former have been an ongoing thing, but Aubrey's issue with Cudi seems to stem from the Cleveland rapper recently lashing out at the likes of Drake and Kanye West on Twitter, before checking himself into rehab. Now, the song has the Internet buzzing again, after the liner notes have revealed that Kanye helped produce and co-wrote the track.
The folks over at HHNM discovered the Tidal-provided song credits which shows Yeezy as one of two producers on the track, along with Noah "40" Shebib. He is also listed as a song-writer along with four other people, including 40.
West's involvement makes a little sense as they were both called out by Cudi during his rant against the industry. But why would West help out on a track in which one of his own artists is dissed?
Cudi will surely have something to say about this new revelation. He has already reached out from rehab to voice his opinion on the track itself. “Say it to [my] face, pussy,” wrote Cudder. “You think it’s a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I’ll be out soon. Promise.”
