Danny Brown Releases Tortured New Video for “Pneumonia”

Danny Brown just dropped his tortured new video for "Pneumonia," a standout record from his latest album Atrocity Exhibition. You can watch the visual above.

In the video, Danny's chained, suspended in the air and dragged on the ground screaming. Many are already talking about what the video is supposed to "mean," as there appears to be a deeper significance to the images we see. It looks like Danny is a slave to his vices, subjecting himself to the violent consequences of drug use, a pattern that runs throughout the album.

In fact, that's part of what makes Atrocity Exhibition so excellent. It really sounds like an audio portrait of being strung out, as Danny isolates himself from the world and fights his inner demons. The chaos of the production adds to the manic mood of the LP, which is certainly more XXX than Old.
