Conway the Machine and Prodigy of Mobb Deep collaborated on a track called "Benz Window" earlier this year. The song was part of Griselda Records' Don't Get Scared Now EP which dropped in May. The two MCs clearly liked what they created as they now reconvene for an quick new EP titled Hell Still on Earth.

The new project's title harkens back to Mobb Deep's 1996 album Hell on Earth. Conway and the Griselda Records family are carrying the torch of hardcore East Coast hip-hop, so this EP can be seen as a passing of the torch from one of the all-time greats, Prodigy, to one of the city's most talented newcomers, Conway.

Hell Still on Earth is a brief listen, clocking in at just under 10 minutes. The two-track EP is produced entirely by Daringer. The Griselda Records in-house producer has built some chemistry with the New York rhymers as he also crafted the beat for Conway and Prodigy's first collaboration.

This new EP arrives after a string of high quality singles from Conway. The Buffalo rapper recently teamed up with his Hall N Nash cohort Westside Gunn for a dope record called "Mr. Fuji." Conway quickly followed that up by dropping a collaboration with DJ Manipulator titled "2 Drums." His new album G.O.A.T. is on the way.

As for Prodigy, the Mobb Deep member turned some heads last month when he squashed a longstanding beef with Tru Life. The two were pictured on a New York City rooftop with both expressing their positive sentiments on social media. The beef dates back to 1999 when a verse that Prodigy recorded for Tru Life ended up on the Any Given Sunday soundtrack, preventing Tru from releasing it.
