Last week, Wale had reached his breaking point with regards to the online potshots, taking to Twitter to voice his frustrations with the lack of respect he feels he receives. Some of those messages spilled over into the weekend, with the D.C. rapper writing on Saturday (Aug. 13), "Y'all make ppl famous .. And be mad they famous. Fuck u culture vultures Ol 'I got 3 black friends' head ass."

For Snapchat star and new era advertising agent YesJulz, the tweet was perceived as a slight jab, the Miami-bred personality writing on Sunday, "& a man that takes shots at a lady Bc he is upset she gets more views than all his music videos combined is pretty corny." Julz does do work with rappers, she has an interview with Skepta due out later today. She and Wale though exchanged in a back-and-forth that didn't include any tags, but Julz put the rapper on blast, saying that she declined to promote the rapper's single "My PYT" because "he disrespects women consistently." She as well posted a screen grab showing that Wale follows her on Twitter.

The two riffed on a piece in Wale's Twitter bio that teases his upcoming album SHINE, with Julz tagging her post with #humbleseason and Wale responding with #moanseason. "Moaney in the middle," he wrote. "U can come on here and show out all u want .. We know u think black women hate u . We know u think black men want u."
