Rappers have fans all over the world so, it's no surprise when a popular rapper pop ups across the world in Asia. Little do many know, hip-hop has low key been inspired by Japanese culture for sometime now, especially when it comes to fashion.

Brands like A Bathing Ape have been dominate in the genre for decades and overtime have collaborated with a ton of MCs like Kanye West, Pharrell and Kid Cudi. The brand is actually constantly popping up with hip-hop collaborations, more recent ones including Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T and Big Sean's nephew is actually one of the models for the kids line.

Rappers have a mass of fans in Asia as well and it's great that the genre is finally starting to take real notice. Aside from the normal concert by an MC, Hot 97 actually brought their historical Summer Jam concert all the way to Tokyo this year. In July, French Montana, Pusha T, Fabolous and Joey Badass all performed alongside some of Japan's top MCs like AK-69 and AKLO. The concert was a historical moment not only for all the fans in Asia but also for the iconic hip-hop radio station itself.
