It's a good time to be 50 Cent. According to Billboard, the rapper's single "I'm the Man" has made it's way to the top of THR's Top TV Songs chart.

If 50 is searching for someone to thank he should start with HBO's Ballers. The show played the original "I'm the Man" in a recent episode, and the song surged up THR's Top TV Songs chart in the days afterward. The song's remix, which features Chris Brown, holds down the number two spot after being played in a recent episode of 50's hit Starz TV series, Power. The Top TV Songs chart gets its data from the sum of monthly Shazam tags and sales and streaming information tracked by Nielsen Music over that same period of time.

Like we said, it's a good time to be 50 Cent. Earlier this week, the G-Unit boss received a letter from the notorious Big Meech, an incarcerated Black Mafia Family gangster 50 plans to make a Starz TV series about. In the letter, Meech gives 50 permission to produce a show about his role in the Black Mafia Family.

50 posted the letter onto his Instagram. He seemed to be more than a little happy about the news. “It don’t get realer then this, now watch me work,” the 50 says in the caption. “I get the job done, you think I’m playing out here?"
