With the 2016 presidential campaign in full swing and playing out right in front of our eyes, everyone can't seem to stop bringing up Kanye West's 2020 campaign announcement. Donald Trump's antics have lead him to be virtually tied in the polls with Hillary Clinton, creating a full-on head-to-head match for the current campaign, making it clear that the nation is up in the air with the decision.

For some reason, it's leading many to reflect on Ye's presidential announcement at the 2015 MTV VMAs and a lot of rappers are offering their full support. Most recently when asked about voting for Kanye on Conan50 Cent was feeling it. "I like the idea of him running,” the G-Unit mogul told Conan O’Brien. Ice Cube gave his support back in the fall of 2015 when pressed about the topic. “I’m voting for Kanye,” said Cube. “Who is better than Kanye that would run?” N.O.R.E. also backed Ye's decision in 2015 then explained why he unfortunately couldn't vote. "I'm going to be Kanye's biggest supporter when he runs for president," N.O.R.E. told TMZ last fall . "I can't vote — I'm a felon –– but I'm [going to] make everybody that I know vote for him," the Queens rapper said.

Kanye has actually collected quite a few votes within the hip-hop community. See which rappers are in support of Kanye's 2020 presidential campaign in the gallery above.
