The combination of Meek Mill and Pusha T sounds go good on a track, it's a wonder it hasn't happened before. Sprinkle a little Ty Dolla Sign in there to keep it gritty but soulful and DJ Drama has himself one tight joint from his upcoming Quality Street Music 2 LP. Another joint from Freddie Gibbs and Dave East dropped from the album as well.

Shy Glizzy returned this week with a ridiculous new mixtape Young Jefe 2, the sequel to his 2014 breakout tape. His beat selection is on point, his flows are as varied as ever and his use of melody is refined. The intro "Let It Rain" is a standout, along with "Ride 4 U," "Huh," and "Think About It." He's back in a big way.

21 Savage finally dropped his long-awaited Savage Mode produced by Metro Boomin and it doesn't disappoint. Across nine tracks, 21 cuts one beat after another, with "X" being a highlight featuring the only guest verse on the tape from Future.

Ty Dolla Sign also dropped a video for his new song "No Justice" with his imprisoned brother TC on Instagram. Cousin Stizz released his phenomenal sophomore mixtape Monda with Cardo producing the catchy "Every Season," and Madeintyo recruited 2 Chainz for a new version of "I Want."

Plus, XXL premiered a new cut from Joey Badass and Jim Jones called "Lost Ones." On it, Joey talks about his deceased friend Capital STEEZ.
