It might have been the best rap week of 2016, if only Guwop had waited a week. But today alone we got new records from Kanye West and the G.O.O.D. Music crew, Young Thug and Travis Scott, and Drake. It was damn near overwhelming.

Earlier this week, however, Pusha T gave fiends what they've been itching for with "Drug Dealers Anonymous, his first single from the upcoming King Push album. Fresh off his first verse in over a year on the "All the Way Up" remix, Jay Z jumped on the track talking about damn Daniel and all white vans. The internet rightfully lost its shit, and if we weren't so skeptical, we'd smell a whiff of a chance that Jay Z might be gearing up for something huge later this year.

Embroiled in controversy, the Young Thug and Travis Scott record "Pick Up the Phone" has been eagerly awaited by fans for months. After dropping it late last night in his Soundcloud, Travis lamented the fact that Thug's label 300 was trying to block the official release of the song. Accusations flew that the track was originally Thugger's, and once Travis got on the phone with the head of 300 Lyor Cohen, the problem was quickly mended and the song put on iTunes for sale.

And yes, the vocals finally came in. DJ Khaled dropped his Drake collab "For Free" today with production from Nineteen85 and Jordan Nullman. The song would have fit perfectly between "Controlla" and "One Dance" on Views, with its breezy tropical vibe and overly sexual lyrics. Drizzy's about to make the birth rate go up.

Donnie Trumpet also let go of a Surf leftover with Chance while Vic Mensa experimented heavily on his There's Alot Going On EP.
