PartyNextDoor’s Alleged “Legend” Reference Track for Drake Leaks

Here we go again. An alleged reference track by PartyNextDoor for the Drake song "Legend" recently popped up on SoundCloud. You can hear it above.

Labeled as PartyNextDoor Unreleased 2016, the collection of tracks contain a couple that should sound familiar to Drake fans, as "Legend" appeared as the first song on the 2015 project If You're Reading This It's Too Late, as did "647," which is actually Drake's "Company" with Travis Scott.

Though there are some deviations, this is almost exactly what Drizzy sang/spit on the intro track. It should come as no surprise to many, as PND was listed as a writer on the song in the credits.

They could be remixes, as reported last year, but in light of reference tracks from the album leaking previously, it looks suspicious.

This isn't the first time a PND reference track has made its way to the public. A few weeks back, the demo for Rihanna's No. 1 hit "Work," which Party penned, popped up on the World Wide Web.

This also, of course, isn't the first time a Drake reference track has found its way to the Internet. The first instance played an integral part in his whole beef with Meek Mill as the MMG rapper tried to expose Quentin Miller as the pen behind Drizzy's IYRTITL anthems. The situation opened a whole can of worms with people calling into question the T Dot rapper's legacy.

Like the the first wave of reference tracks this will probably do nothing more than provide a small scuff to Aubrey's armor. His new album View From the 6 is doing stupid numbers since its release on Friday (April 29) and is expected to push close to 1 million copies in its first week of availability.
