Kanye West is known for his long speeches. With that in mind, it might come as a surprise that the Chicago native only need five words for his acceptance speech at the 2016 Webby Awards. Kanye took home the award for Artist of the Year and decided kept it simple with his address.

"I can't stand short speeches," Kanye said via video at the 20th Annual Webby Awards.

No one will be mistaking this one for the massive rant Kanye West unleashed at 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, but that might be the point. 'Ye has become so associated with the rambling, stream of consciousness speeches that making a simple joke like this one subverts everyone's expectations. Few know how to keep themselves in the conversation better than Kanye and he did so this time with just five words.

As for Kanye West's next move, fans already know that he's at work on the new album Turbo Grafx 16 as he rides the momentum of The Life of Pablo. If his first album of 2016 is any hint, Yeezy will have a big rollout for the new LP when it's ready. In fact, the project may drop before it is even done. As The Life of Pablo showed, Kanye is more than willing to release an early version of the LP and update tracks as time passes.

In addition to his work in the studio, Kanye West should have some new music videos dropping in the near future. The G.O.O.D. Music boss was seen shooting a video for Schoolboy Q's "That Part" just a few days ago. There's also been speculation that 'Ye made a video for "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2" during the filming of Desiigner's "Panda" music video.
