DJ Khaled might be looking into expanding his portfolio once again and tapping into major league sports - namely the Miami Heat.

TMZ recently caught up with the We The Best head honcho who was game to talk about anything Miami Heat, including if he would ever want to own a stake in the franchise. "I would love to talk to the Heat, and let me be a owner even if it's 1 percent," he said. "Either way, I'm there court side. If I'm out of town I'm representing. I bleed Miami. It's Miami Heat for life."

Rappers have bragged about possibly buying sports teams for years. Birdman and Mannie Fresh were famous for saying they were going to purchase franchises while boasting in their rhymes during the early Big Tymers days and Rick Ross has often bumped his gums about buying into his home team Miami Dolphins.

While they have big dreams, thre have been rappers who have had ownership in the NBA. Jay Z famously held a small percentage of the Brooklyn Nets at one point and was instrumental in bringing the team from New Jersey to Crooklyn. Will and Jada Smith purchased a minority stake in the Philadelphia 76ers back in 2011.

Khaled does own a franchise, but it is in the food arena. The DJ is the proprietor of the new restaurant Finga Licking, a chicken joint in Miami Gardens. But if he follows his keys the next step migtht be the Heat.
