Pix 11 News is reporting that a man accused of murdering Future's former bodyguard has been arrested. Tywan Porter was picked up by a taskforce of US Marshalls and NYPD at a Morton Williams supermarket in Manhattan on a homicide warrant from Georgia.

Tywan Porter is accused of killing Michael Phillips at the man's home in Jonesboro earlier this year. Phillips was at home with his wife when neighbors heard shots coming from the house. The two were reportedly expecting their first child.

"Some of the neighbors heard some arguing and some gunshots. We’re still interviewing some of them to try and piece together everything at this time,” Lieutenant Frank Thomas of the Clayton County Police Department said back in January.

A rep for Future previously told XXL that Michael Phillips was a former bodyguard for the Atlanta rapper. Phillips last worked for Future in 2011, when they parted ways. Future sent out his condolences for Phillips on Jan. 26.

"Rest in paradise Big Mike," Future wrote. "La familia forever lil' bro. Can't trust [these] streets."

Future is also looking to pay homage to another deceased friend. The EVOL rapper is doing a tribute to the late ASAP Yams with a limited edition t-shirt honoring the ASAP Mob leader. The shirts are part of a special set of vintage tees that will be available at Future's Purple Reign tour pop-up shop in Los Angeles. The 50 shirts will be sold exclusively at the shop on March 20, so only those lucky enough to be there can purchase these tribute tees.
