Just Blaze has had his hand on the record button for some pretty dope moments in hip-hop history. So it should be no secret that he has some unearthed gems just sitting on his hard drive collecting dust. Gems that might not be a big deal to him because of his status, but major WTF moments for fans. The producer recently decided to dip into his cache during a high powered set on DJCity's MikiDz Show and ended up playing unreleased material from Jay Z, Jay Electronica and others.

Putting in an hour long session, Jus kept the party going with rare tracks. He busted out an unused track from Jay Z's The Blueprint 3 sessions as well as a preview of Jay Electronica's "Exhibit G."

The flexing didn't stop there. He also played a potential track slated for Snoop Dogg's next album, the original instrumental of Rick Ross and Drake's "Lord Knows," an instrumental for an upcoming Jeezy track and a beat from a Slaughterhouse session.

JB has proved in the the past that he sitting on a bunch of music that has not made its way to the public ear. Last September he revealed he had a finished version of Jay Electronica's long-awaited LP Act II: Patents of Nobility (The Turn) just chilling on his phone. Fans have been waiting on the album since the release of the Just Blaze produced single "Exhibit C" which caught the blogosphere on fire in 2009.

Later in the interview, Just Blaze talks about the perceived "battle of beats" between he and Kanye on Blueprint. He didn't see it as a "battle" as much as Jay did, but Just does admit that when Kanye brought in that "Girls Girls Girls" remix after Just's version, it was superior to the original. He starts talking about it around the 1:21:40 mark in the video above. We aren't sure which one is better, but you can hear both below.

Check out the video version of Blaze's set and interview above or listen to the audio below as well, plus check the Jay Elect snippet by itself.

Just Blaze's version of "Girls Girls Girls"

Kanye West's version of "Girls Girls Girls" (but Kanye freestyling instead of the version with Jay)
