One of the greatest producers of all-time is also behind the soundtrack for Fightball. What is Fightball? It’s a brand new sports entertainment property that mashes the basketball court with the club. It’s the world’s most intense one-on-one basketball competition and provides ‘all highlights, all the time.’ It takes place after hours, in a nightclub setting. DJ Clark Kent is on the ones and twos, MC Joe Pope is our host, and a special performer comes out just before the final game.

The games took place last week (March 3 and 4) and the championship was held yesterday (March 10). On Thursday A$AP Ferg performed, on Friday Cam’ron performed and Pusha T took the stage on championship day. Take a look at the pictures from the event below.

In the vdeo above, Just Blaze explains the inspiration behind the soundtrack while also taking viewers into his studio.

"There's a whole psychology of music that is deeper than just the surface level," Just Blaze explains. "I can play something like [plays keys] and that sound could make you happy. You're running through the fields of Sweden somewhere. Then all of a sudden you change one note, it feels a little bit evil, a little be angry. All i did is change one note. But you convey two clearly different feelings. There's a reason why certain songs made you angry. There's a reason why certain songs make you feel aggressive. There's a reason why certain songs make you sad. There's a whole psychology behind it."
