If you're a fan of hip-hop then you should already be aware that the XXL Freshmen 10th Spot voting poll is now open. On Monday (March 28), we launched 10th spot, which gives fans a chance to decide which artist gets a spot on the 2016 XXL Freshmen cover. This year's 10th Spot options have been expanded to include over 100 rappers (and some singers) vying for the title. This means each artist's fan base has to go extra hard with their campaigning to gain the top spot.

To give you some history, the 10th spot voting kicked off in 2012, to give fans a voice in the selection process. Past rhymers who've won include Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton, Iggy Azalea and Kidd Kidd. Voting for this year's 10th spot will be open for a full seven days, ending Sunday (April 3) at midnight. Fans can vote more than once, only limited by the four-hour time frame. When you vote for your favorite artist, make sure to let the public know by posting your pick on social media using the hashtag #XXLFreshmen and #10thSpot. Your vote can be made with just a click and the public can witness the process all at the same time.

With voting running rampant, #XXLFreshmen trending and plenty of people chiming in on Twitter, XXL asked the fans who they think will win this year's spot. Stans came out heavy for their favorite rappers like G Herbo, Joey Fatts, Denzel Curry and Tsu Surf, to name a few. Plus other singers like Bryson Tiller and Anderson .Paak have entered the conversation. Some fans even admit that because there are so many strong candidates this year, it's hard to pick just one.

Take a look at what the people are saying when it comes to who should win the 2016 XXL Freshmen 10th spot.
