In the frenzied days leading up to the release of Kanye West's The Life of Pablo, 'Ye blamed Chance the Rapper for the album's delay. As we soon learned, the wait was well worth it as Chance bodied his guest appearance on "Ultralight Beam" and had everyone talking about his contributions to the project. During a show in Raleigh, NC, the young Chicago rapper performed "Ultralight Beam" and serenaded the crowd as the fans rapped his verse bar-for-bar alongside him.

Chance has emerged as one of the better performers in hip-hop and his shows are quickly becoming must-see events. Earlier this month, the "Sunday Candy" MC performed new music that might be on his long-awaited follow up to the standout Acid Rap. While Justin Bieber was in Los Angeles for his massive Purpose tour, Chance popped up once again to perform "Confident," a 2013 collab from Bieber's Journals album.

As his star power grows, fans are patiently waiting for a new solo project from Chance. In January, he teased new music in two Snapchat videos, which only built anticipation. “If one more label try to stop me, It’s gon’ be some dread head niggas in ya lobby," he raps in the clip, sounding more militant than usual. With standout appearances on Kanye's album and a whirlwind of tours, side projects and hospital visits over the past three years, Chance surely has a lot to get off his chest on his new project.
