Update: 50 Cent has deleted this picture from his Instagram.

Original Story:

50 Cent was in court for his bankruptcy case yesterday (March 9) and snapped a pic of himself with a couple dollars in his waistband for the world to see. The New York Times covered his appearance this morning, but in a post to Instagram Curtis says he doesn't fuck with their coverage on the proceedings.

"The New York Times is full of shit," wrote 50. "I would never disrespect the court system. The judge never told me what I could or couldn't post on social networks. Then you edit the caption under my picture, to make it what you want it to be. SMH."

It's hard to know exactly what 50 is taking objection to, as he claims the Times changed the caption under his picture. As to his comment about the judge, the Times opened their article with this: "A judge in Connecticut has asked the rapper 50 Cent, who filed for bankruptcy protection last year, to explain Instagram photos showing him posing next to or near large piles of cash, including one picture in which bills are arranged into letters spelling out the word 'Broke.'" Whether that's the part 50 takes issue with or other lines in the article is unclear.

Also confusing is the picture 50 used. He's pictured wrapping a gift while donning a Yankee fitted with a bullethole in it. Behind him on one side, some white dude is smoking a cigarette, while on the other side it looks like the belongings of a homeless person.

50 might just be feeling testy with the courts coming at his neck, but we'll update this story when we learn more.
