Run The Jewels' Run The Jewels 2 was a critical and commercial success and Killer Mike and El-P are back in the studio working on Run The Jewels 3. Via his Instagram account, El-P shared an instrumental along with the caption "RTJ3 is just getting started."

In true Run The Jewels fashion, the beat is dark, hard-hitting and perfect for the relentless tone that the duo has set with their previous releases. As 2015 comes to a close, the news of a new RTJ project gives hip-hop fans another release to look forward to in 2016.

Run The Jewels fans have been out in full force wondering when new music is coming. Via Twitter, El-P sent out a message to hopefully end the inquiries for now:

Based on the Brooklyn native's tweet, we won't be getting new music for a while but as 2015 comes to a close, the news of a RTJ project gives hip-hop fans another release to look forward to in 2016.

While one half of the duo locks himself in the studio, Killer Mike has been campaigning for 2016 Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Earlier this month, Mike invited Sanders into his Atlanta barbershop for a conversation. The six-part series, titled Talking Shop With Bernie Sanders, features conversations on economics, social justice, health care and other hot topics heading into the election. The spirited conversation is raw, intelligent, entertaining and Mike brings out the best of the politician.

The rapper and politician have been seen together on numerous occasions over the last month. While Sanders was in Atlanta for a campaign rally, which is when the Talking Shop interview was filmed, the MC introduced and publicly endorsed Sanders in front of the politician’s supporters.
