Earlier this year, Rick Ross was arrested--and forced to pay a hefty bail--after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a groundskeeper who was working on his Georgia home. (Ross would end up serving time on house arrest.) Now another star from the 2000s is facing some legal difficulties stemming from work on a home he owns in the state. Fortunately, these are of a less grave variety: According to TMZ, three different contract companies have filed leans against the star's home in Alpharetta, claiming that they've gone uncompensated for work on the house, which Jon purchased in 2005. The total amount of unpaid work is claimed to be over $22,000. ($15,000 to a drywall company, $1,050 for plumbing and $6,743.86 to Eastern Wallboard Supply.) Jon's camp claims that he had hired a general contractor to handle the remodeling, and that he is aware that general contractor may have failed to make proper payments. His representatives say he's "in the process" of resolving the matter.

Though a semi-prominent figure in some Atlanta rap circles since the late-'90s, Lil Jon shot to national fame in 2002. His album with the East Side Boyz, Kings of Crunk, encapsulated the titular sound, and spawned hits in "I Don't Give a Fuck," "Play No Games" and the inescapable "Get Low," which also made stars out of The Ying Yang Twins. Jon then became a force behind the boards, producing hits for a bevy artists in rap, pop and R&B.
