Stream Tony Yayo’s New Mixtape

El Chapo is still on the run but Tony Yayo is keeping his name alive with his latest mixtape offering. With El Chapo 3: The Great Escape, Yayo serves up 11 new songs to feast on heading into the weekend. Yayo handles the grunt work himself, bringing only Bolly on for two songs and hopes to re-establish himself in the mixtape game---a world he and his G-Unit cohorts dominated for much of the 2000's. Yayo started teasing the mixtape during the summer with the release of tracks like "Billionaire"  but took months to finally release the project. Over the spring months, Yayo dropped freestyles over classic boom bap beats including Black Moon’s “Niguz Talk Shit” and “Reality” instrumentals. The freestyles were a total throwback and drummed up memories of early G-Unit mixtapes where Yayo and Co. were ripping every beat sent their way.
