It's a familiar scene. Well past the first of the month, the landlord is beating down the door, and someone is tipptoeing in their Jordans, hoping to go unnoticed. That seems to be the case for Neon Icon RiFF RAFF, who is being sued for $68,500 in back rent and damages by his landlord, TMZ reports.

The specific damages were undisclosed, but Jody Highroller may be out of the residence anyway, with reports surfacing in late September that he had purchased a five-bedroom Las Vegas pad dubbed the "Codeine Castle," for $1.29 million.

It's always tricky to separate fact from fiction with RiFF RAFF, whose own form of legend building includes a series of imagined alternate realities. With colorful braids and blinged out grills, the rapper certainly gives the impression of living a mythical and extravagant lifestyle, one that, based on these reports, may be beyond his means.

RiFF RAFF, who's been packing on the muscle to wrestle alongside Hulk Hogan has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
