Kanye West Sends Taylor Swift Flowers

Kanye West continues to make amends with Taylor Switf for his 2009 MTV Video Music Awards snafu. Last week, Swift presented West with the MTV VMA Video Vanguard Award during the VMA's. West was apparently so gracious he sent the singer flowers. The pop star recently posted a picture of her standing next to a large square shaped bouquet of white flowers along with the caption, "Awww Kanye sent me the coolest flowers!! #KanTay2020 #BFFs."

This is just yet another indication that the two musicians have buried all problems from the past, which were sparked when West infamously interrupted Swift while she was accepting the "Best Music Video" award to cheer lead for Beyonce, six years ago. It took some time before the two artists got on the same page after that. “I feel like I wasn’t ready to be friends with [West] until I felt like he had some sort of respect for me,” the 1989 singer told Vanity Fair last month about reconciling with 'Ye. “He wasn’t ready to be friends with me until he had some sort of respect for me—so it was the same issue, and we both reached the same place at the same time.”

With the help of Jay Z, West and Swift eventually got on the same page and have since talked about creative ideas and working on music together. Who knows, she might even be his running mate for the 2020 election.
