Dazed magazine has Young Thug on the cover of its latest issue and ventured down to Atlanta to spend a few days with the eccentric rapper. The in-depth story chronicles Thugger's lavish lifestyle, his close-knit family and infatuation with guns and weapons that seem to pop up everywhere Thug goes. The profile also gives insight to the rapper's songwriting habits, which help explain his rapidly growing body of work. “I think as I go,” he says. “I can’t remember 16 bars. Unless you write it, you can’t. I just do it bar for bar. I did a song in eight minutes. I thought everybody could write songs that fast. But working with a lot of them, they don’t.Wayne and Drake, it takes them so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I think I can do a perfect song in ten minutes. I did ‘Danny Glover’ in eight minutes. ‘Stoner’ took me almost an hour.”

The story also quotes Thug as saying his album is done and gives a Sept. 24 release but the rapper has recently come out and said that they may not be the case.  While out in Chicago for Lollapalooza, Thug did a quick interview with Fuse TV and revealed that his album date has been pushed back from. ”My new album is called Hy!£UN35 and it’s launching, I think, Sept. 24,” said the Barter 6 rapper. “But I don’t know, I might take it back. I gotta couple new songs I want to play for the label. All the songs are perfect.”
