After Drake's two-day OVO Fest wrapped last night (August 3) in Toronto, he, a handful of others artists and celebrities, and some of his most industrious fans made their way over Muzik Nightclub for the official afterparty. That celebration, which was open to the public and into the early hours of this morning, turned violent, with a mass shooting leaving at least two people dead and three more critically injured. According to reports from Billboard, Toronto Police Superintendent Frank Bergen has confirmed that one man and one woman are dead. Bergen said that one died on the scene and one was pronounced dead later, though he did not specify which victim was which and did not give any other identifying details, except to say that one was in his or her 20s and the other their 30s.

The shooting took place just before 3:30 a.m. local time, authorities say, beginning inside at the bar before spilling out into the street. Police believe there are more victims and are directing anyone with information or leads to contact to the Homicide division, which is handling the case. “At this point we do know for certain that one or two [shootings] were in the nightclub," Bergen said, "and we believe the others  were outside of that area. This is all unfolding now and we’re doing our investigation.” When asked if a grainy video showed the arrest of a suspect, he said simply that more information would follow. Muzik is located on Saskatchewan Road, across from the Canadian National Exhibition right on Lake Ontario.
