Swish might still be a little slow reaching record stores for most people's tastes, but in the mean time, Kanye West is giving us all the festival and concert appearances we can handle in 2015. Next month it continues, as he will revisit his album 808s & Heartbreak during a one-night only show at the the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The show goes down Friday, September 25 with tickets going on sale, September 4 via Ticketmaster.

808s & Heartbreak, Kanye's fourth studio album, was released on November 24, 2008 and basically became a staple of the emo rap sub genre. The entire album was produced by West, No I.D., Jeff Bhasker, Mr. Hudson and Plain Pat. The project debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, moving 450,145 copies in its first week. Pushed by the bass and auto-tune heavy medleys like "Love Lockdown," "Heartless," "Amazing" and "Paranoid," the album went on to sell over 1.7 million copies in the United States. It is probably 'Ye's most polarizing album along with Yeezus as it strayed from what people had come to expect from the Chicago artist.

Today actually marks the 10-year anniversary of West's second solo LP Late Registration The follow up to his debut College Dropout, the project sold over 3 million copies including 860,000 in it’s first week of release. The album spawned five singles, “Touch The Sky”, “Diamonds Of Sierra Leone,” “Heard ‘Em Say,” “Drive Slow” and the Billboard No. 1 hit, “Gold Digger.”

This was all before the rants, the Yeezys and his declaration of being the greatest living rock star. In other words, the good ol' days.
