The mother of Chris Brown's daughter, Nia Guzman, has filed court papers in an attempt to get full custody of one-year-old Royalty. According to TMZ, Guzman only wants to Brown to be able to see their child if someone is present and is seeking supervised visitation. The site reports, Guzman doesn't think Breezy's lifestyle is conducive to caring for a child as she believes he and his friends have substance issues.

Brown's custody battle continues to play out in a public forum since news broke of the child's existence last March. Earlier this year, Brown took his baby mama to court in an attempt to get his child support payments lowered to a payment plan that is required by law, after she allegedly broke a privacy agreement they had. In April, the Virginia singer went to the courts to get his name on Royalty's birth certificate. Guzman put her current boyfriend Brazil Riesling’s name on the live birth announcement and CB wanted it changed to note he is the biological father. In July, Brown filed legal documents in Houston to establish paternity. A day later, Guzman's mother and Brown had a somewhat heated exchange on Instagram about how much the singer should be providing for his child.

On the music front, Chris recently confirmed he has a new album coming later this year. The new LP will be the follow-up to his last album X which came out last September and featured the singles, "Love More," "Loyal" and "New Flame."
