A$AP Rocky Is Being Sued By a Fan Over a Stage Diving Accident

When he was president, Harry Truman famously put on the edge of his desk a sign that read, "THE BUCK STOPS HERE." No matter where a problem originated, he was willing to take responsibility and to mastermind a solution. A$AP Rocky, whom some might consider to be the Harry Truman of post-Tumblr post-cloud rap, finds himself with a similar amount of responsibility. TMZ reports that a woman named Krystina Clowes is suing Rocky for a minimum of $75,000 after she suffered a fractured vertebra at an A$AP Ferg show in 2013. Apparently, Young Shabba, a member of the A$AP Mob, attempted to crowd surf, but had his fall broken by Clowes, who could not support the hype man's weight. Because he's the leader of the crew--which, Clowes argues, has made a habit of dangerous activities that put their fans in peril--her lawyers argue that he must carry the hype man's weight.

In 2013, Rocky was sued by a woman named Lisamarie Wade, who claimed that the Harlem rapper assaulted her at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia. Wade claimed that Rocky slapped her in the face as they were moving through a crowd; she reported that she suffered "muscle spasm, migraine headaches, intense pain that radiates from her shoulders and into her arms and fingers, and exacerbation of pre-existing conditions.” Earlier that year, video surfaced of Rocky slapping a female fan during a concert in Australia. In 2012, he was involved in a brawl at a clothing store.
