Lil Kim filed a lawsuit against her ex-boo Mr. Papers accusing the 27-year old of beating her when the two were together. The ex-couple is in a messy custodial battle, reports Bossip. Kim and Papers, real name Jeremy Neil, broke up last year following allegations of infidelity. They have have a 1-year-old daughter together named Royal Reign. Since the split, the legendary rapper hasn't allowed Neil to see their daughter, which led him to seek assistance from family courts.

Last month, Papers filed for visitation rights, requesting one day out of the week to parent Royal Reign. The judge decided to grant the visitation and also mandated that a court-approved monitor supervise Papers' visits with Royal. Lil Kim was not present for her July 9 hearing. She instead filed a domestic violence lawsuit against Papers. Papers claimed he never laid a hand on Kim and her suit is just a ploy to keep him from seeing his child.

"He’s not trying to take custody, he’s not trying to take her," said Papers' publicist Tasha Hilton to Bossip. "He is literally just trying to see her. He’s been trying to do it very quietly. She’s playing really dirty now with the domestic situation. There has never been any domestic violence."Kim and Neil are scheduled to appear in a North Jersey family court this week to address the domestic violence allegations. According to Hilton, Papers' main concern "is having his daughter in his life."
