Azealia Banks Calls Australian Concertgoers Violent and Belligerent

A lot of MCs are having problems with Australia lately. Azealia Banks performed at the Splendour in the Grass festival in Byron Bay this past weekend. Brisbane radio host Paul “Browny” Brown tweeted a snarky comment about Banks' short set and the "212" MC did not turn the other cheek. The "Ice Princess" explained why she cut her set short, slamming concertgoers in Australia. "Because in all actuality," tweeted Banks, "You guys are terrible crowds to play for. You're violent and belligerent and I simply will not put my safety at risk.
