XXL 2015 Freshman Fetty Wap just pulled in his first award but it probably wont be his last. The Patterson, New Jersey rap crooner snagged the Music Choice MC100 Award of 2015 for “Trap Queen” and nearly shed tears of joy when he was handed the award. "This is actually the first award I ever won," said the emotional 1738 artist. "This is crazy. I aint never won nothing in my life before. Thank you, everybody."

Fetty's "Trap Queen" is clearly one of the hottest songs of the year and has been remixed by everyone from Fabolous to Da Brat. It's even been annotated by Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin. Wap recently deaded the one-hit wonder talk providing one of the summer of 2015's anthems with the track "My Way" which got a boost last month when Drake hopped on the song.

FW is headed out on the One Hell Of A Night Tour with Chris Brown, Omarion and Teyana Taylor to close out the summer. The tour will hit 25 cities throughout the U.S. including shows in Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas and San Diego. It kicks off on August 12 at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Fetty is fast becoming the go-to-guy for hooks. Project Pat recently tapped the dread for his new song "Rollin' Dank" featuring Big Trill off the Memphis vet's upcoming project, Pistol and A Scale: Chapter 1 Omerta. Fetty's gruff vocals shine on the hook while Pat and BT spit gutter rhymes.
