50 Cent was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (June 4) and it seemed like he and Jimmy had a great time. 50 Cent and Kimmel delivered a hilarious sketch called Coach Bud, playing off the 1997 Charles Martin Smith-directed classic film, Air Bud. Connie Britton and Paul Giamatti co-starred in the segment where Fif plays a basketball coach who desperately turns to a dog for help.

The entire show was pretty entertaining. Kimmel brings up 50 Cent getting shot several years ago, cleverly asking what hurt more, that or being a Knicks fan. The two also talked about Fif meeting Meryl Streep and asking her to blow "star dust" on him before later introducing her to Kobe Bryant. Next month (July 6), the G-Unit chief will be celebrating his 40th birthday. In the next clip from Fif's appearance, Kimmel asks if anything is different about 50's approach to his music and/or his style. In response, he says he works on his craft a bit more and pays close attention when he should take lines out of a draft.

Fif's forthcoming album, Street King Immortal, will drop in September. He made the announcement while walking the red carpet for the premiere of the second season of his Starz TV show Power. If you missed out on the event, read all about it here. Yesterday (June 4), his collaboration with Elle Varner titled “Birthday” was released.
