The amount of Young Thug's songs being leaked daily is insane. At least once a week a song that Thugger is on finds it way onto the web. This week in particular there were several songs by Thug and songs where he was just the featured artist being prematurely released to the public. One big record, his collaboration with producer Jamie xx for “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times),” the unfinished version leaked. It didn't even have a verse from Popcaan, the second featured artist that's supposed to be on the final version of the song.

Unauthorized leaks of music isn't anything new. But the furry in which Thug's songs have been improperly coming out is ridiculous. Wednesday (May 13), Alex Tumay, an engineer who has worked with both Quan and Thug in addition to work with Travi$ Scott, Drake, Birdman and Boosie Badazz, among others, took to Twitter to speak his mind on the issue.

“Resisting saying too much, but leaks are heartbreaking,” he wrote in one tweet, adding later, “This shit’s been eating at me all day. Luckily there’s always more music to make, and more whiskey to drink.” He later added a third tweet with an extended statement.
