HAW Schedule

Drake and OVO are heading to H-Town this weekend for the second annual Houston Appreciation Weekend. Starting on Thursday night, Drake will be joined by the likes of Bun B, Future, Fetty Wap and Boosie Badazz throughout the four days for what promises to be a memorable Memorial Day weekend. Last year's weekend featured live performances from Drake and Weezy plus a comedy set by Kevin Hart. Based on the above schedule, this year's edition looks to be even more star studded. In 2014, Bun B was unable to make it to his hometown for the celebration due to a wedding he was officiating in Ibiza but will be featured heavily this year.

Tickets to the HAW celebrity softball game are available here. Featuring NFL players, former professional baseball players and rappers like Kirko Bangz and P.Reign, the Houston Astros Foundation will also run a raffle and auction, with all proceeds benefitting Houston's' Urban Youth Academy. The game will take place at the University of Houston and with a home run derby preceding the actual game.

To get ready for the weekend, October's Very Own teamed up with Austin, Texas based producer Eric Dingus for the second installment of the Houston Appreciation Weekend mixtape. Featuring chopped and screwed music from Drake, UGK and many others, the mix is a follow up to last year's mix of the same title. Stream the project below:
