Kendrick Lamar filmed the video for "Alright" his triumphant next single from To Pimp A Butterfly yesterday in Oakland. And judging from the behind-the-scenes footage of the shooting of the visual, things were pretty lit. Lamar is clearly a man of the people and just like in his previous video for "King Kunta" he chooses to let the youth be a part of the whole process. In footage captured by people in attendance, K Dot raps while a mob of Cali residents go dumb in the background. In another scene, the Top Dawg rapper is suspended over the bustling crowd via steel cables. The energy of the Pharrell assisted song definitely seems present on set. “Alright” video is coming soon.
