Young Thug's new project Carter 6 is dropping next week.

Last night, Thugger hopped on Instagram to unveil the artwork for Carter 6. He also announced the release date, writing "#c6otw 4/17" in the photo's caption. In less than two weeks, fans will get a hold of new YT, his first project since Rich Gang's Tha Tour: Part 1 back in September. His single "Check" will lead the way on the project. Thug dropped the video for the song last week, where him and his crew show off their stacks of money.

The tracklist for Carter 6 is not out yet. The "Stoner" rapper has stated that he plans to add four more installments to Lil Wayne's Carter series if the Young Money boss ends the series at five. Hopefully Tha Carter V will drop sometime this year.

Thugga has been keeping busy on the rap scene, having just come off the Rodeo Tour with Travi$ Scott. He also was just featured on T.I.'s "Bankrolls on Deck" with PeeWee Roscoe and Shad Da God. He's also featured on London producer Jamie xx's debut solo album. Jamie recently called on Young Thug and Popcaan for a track on his debut album, In Colour.

"I just think [Young Thug] is the best at the moment, him and Popcaan," said Jamie xx. "I sent the song to other people who did versions, but [Thug and Popcaan's] version fit best on the record.”
