Young Thug's sexuality has become an unlikely point of both speculation and controversy since the Atlantan burst onto the scene in the latter half of 2013. Fanning the flames for his own amusement ("Every time I dress myself, it go motherfucking viral"; "And no homo, but my blunt look like a dick"), Thug has quickly emerged as one of hip-hop's brightest young talents. But at the release party for his latest mixtape, the stellar Barter 6, Thug put the debate to rest. The "Danny Glover" rapper confirmed to AllHipHop that he is indeed engaged to his longtime girlfriend. The brief interview also touched on Rich Homie Quan's departure from Rich Gang ("He had to focus on his career") and the recurring threat of beef with Lil Wayne--Thug claimed that he was simply paying homage to an artist he considered a hero.

Barter 6 is the first full-length solo record in nearly two years that has been sanctioned by Thug and his camp. Though 2014 saw the release of several collections of old material, this is his first certified offering since the first 1017 Thug. Last year, he did drop Tha Tour Pt. 1 with Quan as Rich Gang; the collaboration also spawned "Lifestyle," which became a major hit. No word yet on the schedule for Thug's nuptials.
