The Adamsville section of Atlanta, GA is a long way from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, both literally and figuratively. Just 24 hours after chopping it up with students and staff about race relations at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Killer Mike found himself rubbing shoulders with the country's elite at the Washington Hilton Hotel for the White House Correspondents' dinner. The exclusive yearly gathering of politicians, journalists and celebrities is a hard invite to get and very few rappers has been invited to the event. This year's dinner hilariously featured a bit with President Barack Obama and his anger translator Luther (played by comedian Keegan-Michael Key), from the infamous Key & Peele skit.

From the looks of his Instagram account Mike had a memorable time. He even had got his stage name printed out in the program. "They listed me as #KillerMike I wish I cud go back to All this folks at Major labels that told me the name Killer was Unmarketable," he posted under a photo of the program. "Well MuthaFuckers seems as if y'all were wrong as fuck! Again lol!"

Killer Mike, a true American hero. In addition to attending the dinner, Killer Mike gave a lecture on race and politics at MIT. Watch video below, courtesy of Section Eighty.
