Madonna Says She Dated Tupac

With her new album Rebel Heart out now, Madonna stopped by the SiriusXM studio for an interview with the legendary Howard Stern. During the interview, Madonna casually revealed that she dated Tupac--which has been speculated for years--when talking about an awkward appearance she had on The Late Show With David Letterman in 1994.

"I was mad at [David Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot," explained the Queen of Pop. "I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up about life in general...So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangster."

Rumors of the relationship popped up in Lucy O'Brien's 2007 book Like An Icon. O'Brien wrote that Madonna and 'Pac dated and the singer wanted to have Tupac's child. The pop singer never responded to the book's claims. Pictures of the two have circulated over the years but nothing was ever confirmed until yesterday's interview:
