Today (March 31), marked the 20th anniversary of Selena's untimely death, and surprisingly, the hip-hop community had a lot to say about it. The singer passed in 1995 succumbing to a fatal gunshot wound from Yolanda Saldívar, the manager of the famed entertainer's boutiques in the mid-1990s. Selena's contributions to the hispanic community, in both music and fashion, cultivated one of the most celebrated Mexican-American entertainers in history. By the end of the 20th century, Selena acquired a sainthood-like status within the hispanic community. In 1997, a biopic was released in her honor. Many deem the picture as Jennifer Lopez' breakout role. To celebrate the anniversary of her passing, Timbaland, Bun B and others uploaded photos of the icon.

Ludacris unveiled his ninth studio album, Ludaversal. The 14-track effort features appearances by Miguel, Big K.R.I.T., Usher and Monica. While speaking with XXL awhile back, Luda deemed the project as a mix of the rowdy Ludacris fans all know and love, paired with an evolved Luda who expresses humility and growth. He posted pictures on IG, letting fans know the LP is up for sale and to show support.

Kid Ink dropped another video off of his latest album, Full Speed, serving up the visual for "Be Real" featuring Dej Loaf.

Pharrell also showed off human-like statues of himself, crafted out of wood.
