Today, (Jan. 28), there was a ton of birthdays in hip-hop. J. Cole, Rick Ross and Rakim all celebrated birthdays, with Cole turning the big 30. Drake was especially elated over the day’s festivities, as he posted heartfelt messages to both Ross and the Dreamville rapper on Instagram. “ To my BROTHER in this shit,” wrote Drake to Cole. “This whole business is a grey blur. Thanks for keeping it black and white with me always (lightskin pun intended). Enjoy your day and congrats on everything this year,” Drizzy posted to IG.

While others were off celebrating life, Snoop Dogg dropped a bomb on the social network. The California OG has the Internet buzzing with talk of a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar. The two were pictured hanging out at an undisclosed location. “Work. !! K. Dot,” Snoop captioned the photo. Ice Cube also showed the TDE rapper some love on IG today, posting a picture of Lamar sporting a “Straight Outta Compton” t-shirt.

In light of news that his tour with Chris Brown and Trey Songz is going to be pushed back, Tyga sought today to upload the Fan Of A Fan tracklist, unveiling features with Ty Dolla $ign, Pusha T, 50 Cent, Fat Trel, Boosie Badazz, ScHoolboy Q, Jay 305, T.I. and Wale.
