Dej Loaf burnt down the house Tuesday night (Oct. 21) at Santos Party House in lower Manhattan. The Detroit native, who recently signed with Columbia Records, had a few surprises up her sleeve at last night’s performance. This is her first major performance in NYC to promote her new mixtape, Sell Sole, after the success of her debut single "Try Me." Opening acts included OVO’s Mike Zombie, Dax, Key! And Empire.

The very petite Loaf stepped out on the stage in a full length fur coat, red lace bra, designer loafers and her signature MCM bucket hat to perform a slew of new tracks from her premiere project. The femcee opened up with "I Don’t Know," a humbling track about persevering through her past struggles in life. Dej proceeded to give the crowd several previews of her new mixtape with tracks "We Be On It," "Blood," "Me U Hennessy," "On My Own" and "Ayo." The show became emotional at one point, when Dej introduced her very proud mother on stage with "I Got It," an inspirational track that shows a very humble side of lady rhyme slinger.

But the surprise cameos didn’t stop there; Loaf had the house on tilt when she brought out two-thirds of The Lox, Styles P and Jadakiss, to perform their rendition of "Try Me." It was pure pandemonium when the Bronx legend Remy Ma popped up and closed out the track with her version.
