Nicki Minaj Will Host The 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards

Nicki Minaj will be hosting the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards, according to a post on her Instagram earlier this morning (Sept. 30).

Yesterday, she teased on Instagram with a post that stated she was going to make an announcement at midnight (PST), with a picture that read "11.24.14." The release date of her upcoming album, The Pink Print, leading many to believe that the announcement was album related. But when midnight hit, Nicki announced that she would not only be performing at the Nov. 9 show in Glasgow, Scotland, but that she would also be hosting the show as well. On her Instagram, she posted this caption along with the picture below:

“So excited to announce that I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year's MTV European Music Awards!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! The show will shoot in GLASGOW, SCOTLAND for its 20th Anniversary ON NOVEMBER 9th!!!!”

This will be Nicki's first time hosting a major award show.
