Happy Birthday, Trick Daddy!

Today, Sept. 23, is the birthday of raunchy Miami rapper Trick Daddy!

The Miami rapper gained notoriety in the late 1990s when he appeared on Uncle Luke's single, "Scarred" and began a regional hero with his debut album Based on a True Story in 1997. He then gained national attention with "Nann Nigga" featuring Trina. Known for his gritty, raunchy and real lyrics, Trick Daddy puts emphasis on taking fans on a journey through his hood. In 2009, he even brought his rap character to life onscreen by starring in the 2009 film Just Another Day. Over the years, he has released eight studio albums and is now considered one of the OGs of Miami Dade.
