The Notorious B.I.G. released his debut album Ready to Die 20 years ago. The album is lauded as one of the greatest in hip-hop history and served as the blueprint for many reputable artists today. During Biggie's journey to greatness, he encountered a bevy of friends and journalists along the way. To honor his legacy and his first album, NPR held a special panel at Brooklyn's BRIC House last weekend. Some of the panelists included author dream hampton, The Source's former Unsigned Hype editor  Matty C, childhood friend/DJ Hubert Sam and neighbor/jazz musician Donald Harrison Jr. They all ruminated on their fondest memories of the Notorious one. Check it out.
