Pharrell Williams has been having a pretty phenomenal year! From clothing collaborations to releasing a record-breaking single, possibilities seemed endless for the knower of all things cool. But someone might be trying to rain on his parade. The producer of Pharrell's highly successful YouTube show ARTST TLK is suing the popular artist/music producer for allegedly backing out of his contract to pursue a better deal with NBC's The Voice.

According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Pharrell told the producer to kick rocks because The Voice made an exclusive deal he could not and would not back out of. For those who don't know, Pharrell was asked to join the panel on season seven of the competitive singing show.

Pharrell apparently told the YouTube producer, "Holding me to a contract that prohibits 'The Voice' exclusivity requirement?  It's 'The Voice!'" The report states the producer invested a million dollars into the YouTube show and he expects Pharrell to pay up.

ARTST TLK racked in more than 1.7 million views and featured some big name interviews with celebs like Usher, Spike Lee and Tony Hawk. No wonder the producer is getting all worked up about it.

"This is complete nonsense. It's unfortunate when you try to help a friend and they wind up trying to take advantage of you."
